World number one Novak Djokovic achieved a straight-sets victory over Ivan Dodig in round two at the Paris Masters this afternoon.
Djokovic's participation at the tournament had been in doubt because of shoulder and back injuries, but he confirmed his appearance in the French capital earlier today.
The Serbian showed no signs of those niggles during the opening set, breaking in the ninth game before eventually recording a 6-4 success.
The next set proved to be even more comfortable for Djokovic, who wrapped up his passage to round three with a 6-4 6-3 triumph.
Next up for Djokovic is compatriot Viktor Troicki.
