Andy Murray brushed aside David Goffin this morning to reach the last eight of the Paris Masters in double-quick time.
The British number one took less than an hour to down his Belgian opponent, losing just one game in a 6-1 6-0 triumph.
Murray held to love in the first game of the match and then broke Goffin straight away to move out to a 3-0 lead.
Goffin saved another break point in his next service game before holding, but that would be the one and only game he secured in the match.
Murray went on a nine-game run to close out the contest, only offering Goffin one break point as he booked his quarter-final place in the French capital.
He will face either Kei Nishikori or home favourite Richard Gasquet in the last eight.
