World number 19 Sam Querrey has survived a scare in the second round of the Queen's Club Championships by beating Slovenian Aljaz Bedene in three sets.
The American eighth seed came through an epic opening tie-break 13-11 before his opponent, ranked 78th in the world, took the second set 7-5 in what was a rain-affected match.
Play was suspended with the score 4-4 in the third, but it was Querrey who went on to claim the victory by winning another tie-break 7-5.
He will now face either four-time champion Lleyton Hewitt or 10th seed Grigor Dimitrov.
