Stanislas Wawrinka has progressed through to the second round at Queen's after an impressive display to see off Nick Kyrgios.
The second seed, competing in his first match since winning the French Open, recorded a 6-3 6-4 triumph in just under 50 minutes.
After reaching the quarter-finals of Wimbledon last year, Krygios had been expected to push Wawrinka but he had no answer to the serving of the Swiss number two, who dropped just three points behind his own delivery during the first set.
One break of serve was enough for Wawrinka to take the lead, and the writing was on the wall for his Australian opponent when he quickly established a clear advantage at the start of the second.
Kyrgios brought up three break points as he attempted to stay with Wawrinka, but he couldn't break through as the world number four earned his place in the last 16.
