Tomas Berdych has defeated Dmitry Tursunov in straight sets to advance through to the semi-finals of the Dubai Tennis Championships.
The world number six was always comfortable against his 30-year-old opponent, and he easily secured a 6-3 6-2 victory.
The Czech player breezed through the opening set, breaking the Russian once and dropping just six points on his own serve.
It was one-way traffic in the second set as Berdych overpowered the world number 92 on the way to sealing his place in the last four.
Berdych will play either Roger Federer or Nikolay Davydenko on Friday for a place in the final.
