Novak Djokovic will face Tommy Haas in round four of the Miami Masters following a straight-sets win for the world number one over Somdev Devvarman.
The defending champion broke instantly in the opening set before breaking again late on to claim it 6-2 inside 34 minutes.
Devvarman gave a spirited display against the Serbian in the second, but Djokovic did enough to close out the contest 6-4.
Haas, 35, booked his place in the fourth round of the tournament with a surprise win against 19th seed Alexandr Dolgopolov.
