Dan Evans has recorded victory over Marcel Granollers to reach the final of the Nottingham Challenger.
The former British number two has impressed on the second-tier circuit since returning from a drugs ban, and the Birmingham-based player has given his world ranking a further boost with a 4-6 6-2 6-3 win over the experienced Spaniard.
The opening set was fiercely contested, but a single break of serve was enough for Granollers to establish an advantage in the last-four contest.
However, Evans responded with three breaks of his own over the next two sets, with the 28-year-old striking at 4-3 in the decider to help seal the triumph in just under two hours.
Evans - who has also received a wildcard for Queen's next week - will now play Alex de Minaur in Sunday's final.
