David Ferrer has seen off Jurgen Melzer in three sets to reach the semi-finals of the Miami Masters.
Melzer cruised into a 5-2 lead during the opening set, but he needed two opportunities to serve it out before taking it 6-4.
Spanish third seed Ferrer then took control in the second and levelled the match 6-3.
While there was little to separate the two players in the first two sets, it was one-way traffic in the decider as Ferrer finished off the Austrian 6-0.
The world number five will meet the winner of Tommy Haas's encounter with Gilles Simon in the semi-finals.
