Wimbledon champion Petra Kvitova reached the third round of the inaugural Dongfeng Motor Wuhan Open by crushing Italy's Karin Knapp in just over an hour this evening.
After a tight opening seven games, Kvitova made the only break of the opening set on her first break point to go 5-3 in front before serving it out comfortably.
She ended the match on a streak of nine straight games by taking the second set 6-0 to reach the last 16.
Up next for 24-year-old in round three is a match against fellow Czech Karolina Pliskova.
