Garbine Muguruza has knocked out second seed Simona Halep 2-6 6-2 6-3 to reach the third round of the Wuhan Open in China.
Halep started strongly in the opening set by grabbing an early break of serve and eventually nabbed another to take a one-set lead in the second-round match.
However, she struggled to maintain her dominance in the second set by suffering an instant double break.
The momentum swung in Muguruza's favour, despite losing her serve, and she was able to stay in control to level on sets.
Both players secured a break in the early stages of the third set, but it was the Spaniard who moved on top with a double break to win the set and the match.
