Rafael Nadal has comfortably overcome the challenge of Federico Delbonis to reach the semi-finals of the Argentina Open.
The world number four, who is attempting to win his first title since last year's Roland Garros, dropped just two games in a 6-1 6-1 victory.
The left-hander suffered a surprise defeat to Fabio Fognini in Rio de Janeiro last week, but the 28-year-old looked in ruthless form during his last-eight clash with Delbonis.
Nadal broke twice to ease to the first set, and in the second, he dropped just two points behind his serve as another three breaks were enough to confirm a dominant win.
The Spaniard will now play Carlos Berlocq in the last four after the home-town player registered a 6-1 6-3 success over Blaz Rola.
The other semi-final will be contested between Juan Monaco and Nicolas Almagro.
