Cameron Norrie has moved through to the Lyon Open quarter-finals with a straight-sets win over Maximilian Marterer.
The British number three is using the tournament as preparation for Roland Garros - which begins later this month - and the 22-year-old has found some form ahead of the second Major of the year.
Marterer currently sits 33 places above Norrie in the world rankings but the German failed to have an impact on Norrie, who recorded a comfortable 6-1 6-4 victory.
Norrie broke serve on three occasions throughout the 62-minute contest, while just eight points were conceded behind his own delivery.
Either John Isner or Radu Albot will stand in Norrie's way in the last eight.
