Cameron Norrie has progressed through to the second round of the Estoril Open with victory over sixth seed Robin Haase.
The British number three is looking to break into the world's top 100 for the first time in his career, and the left-hander has boosted his chances of achieving that feat with a 6-4 3-6 6-3 win over the experienced Dutchman.
Haase currently sits as many as 60 places above Norrie in the world rankings, but it was the latter who raced into a 4-0 lead before eventually closing out the opener.
A fast start to the second saw Haase comfortably level things up, but Norrie recorded the only break in the decider to register one of the best wins of his career in one hour and 57 minutes.
Norrie will now face Spain's Roberto Carballes Baena in the last 16, while Kyle Edmund meets Alex De Minaur at the same stage on Wednesday.
