Melanie Oudin dropped just six games on her way to claiming the AEGON Classic title in Birmingham at the expense of Jelena Jankovic this afternoon.
Twenty-year-old Oudin broke Jankovic's serve early in the encounter, only for the former world number one to break back immediately.
However, several unforced errors saw Jankovic broke again in the closing stages of the opening set which allowed Oudin to serve out for a 6-4 success.
Oudin, who has been given a wildcard entry into Wimbledon, continued to dominate in the second set as she wrapped up the victory thanks to a 6-2 triumph.
Oudin is currently ranked 208th in the standings.
