Andy Murray battled back from a set behind to win a dramatic Valencia Open final against Tommy Robredo, all but securing his place in next month's ATP World Tour Finals as a result.
The 27-year-old moves up to fifth place in the Race To London standings with the triumph, claiming his third title in five weeks courtesy of a 3-6 7-6 7-6 win in a time of three hours and 26 minutes.
The opening set went the way of serve until the seventh game, when Robredo managed to break his opponent on a couple of occasions to eventually grab a foothold in the match.
A tie-break was needed in the second set to separate the pair, with Murray surviving two match points to eventually level up the tightly-fought contest.
The decider ended in a similar manner, as Robredo once more saw three match points pass him by, allowing the Scottish pro to capitalise and win the tie-break 10-8 with a backhand winner.
