Laura Robson has bowed out of the Miami Masters after losing in three sets to Alize Cornet.
The 19-year-old looked in good shape as he took the opening set, but the 32nd seed fought back to seal a 5-7 7-5 6-1 victory.
The Brit competed well against her higher-ranked opponent, trading shots with the French player in moving a set away from the third round.
However, a mixture of the quality on Cornet's part and a breakdown in serve on Robson's contributed to her downfall.
Cornet dug deep to take the second set, before Robson lost all momentum in the third, eventually recording a match tally of 17 double faults to help the 22-year-old progress.
