Jo-Wilfried Tsonga has seen off Viktor Troicki in straight sets to move into round three of the Miami Masters.
Both men failed to hold serve consistently in the first set, but sixth seed Tsonga eventually came through the tie-break 8-6.
The Frenchman broke early in the second before staving off four break points for Troicki to finish off his opponent 6-3.
Tsonga, who has never got beyond the quarter-finals in Florida, will face 27th seed Martin Klizan or Jarkko Nieminen in the next round.
