America's Serena Williams has brushed aside Carla Suarez Navarro at the quarter-final stage of the Rome Masters, beating her 6-2 6-0.
Serena's serve was immediately into its swing, as she held to love to open the match before the Spaniard saved a break point to also hold.
Another Williams hold to love followed, before she managed to get in front with a dominant return game.
A couple of gruelling games ensued as the Spaniard tried to earn the break back, but at 5-2 Williams managed the decisive break to take the opener.
The second set was plain sailing for the American as she dominated every game without giving up a break point to take it 6-0 in 25 minutes.
