Caroline Wozniacki reached the last 16 of the Miami Masters with a three-set win against Kaia Kanepi this evening.
The fourth seed struggled in the early stages before storming back to run out a convincing 4-6 6-1 6-3 victor.
In their last meeting in 2012, Wozniacki dropped just one game, but it was Kanepi who started the brighter on Saturday, winning five out of the opening seven games to close in on a one-set lead.
Wozniacki managed to pull a break back to close the gap to one game before her Estonian opponent served out confidently to edge closer to the last 16.
However, Kanepi's serve deserted her in the second and Wozniacki took full advantage, winning 13 of her 18 return points to level the match.
The Dane dominated much of the decider, again earning the majority of points on Kanepi's serve, and, although the world number 51 staged a late comeback, she could not deny Wozniacki a place in the next round.
