Third seed Andy Murray has advanced into the third round of the Rogers Cup with a straight-sets win over Tommy Robredo in Montreal.
The duo were rained off court in the early hours of this morning with the first set level at four games apiece, but the Scot looked to benefit most from the hiatus.
Murray, a Wimbledon semi-finalist last month, won the first two games of the new session to draw first blood in the best-of-three encounter with a 6-4 win.
His Spanish counterpart seemed on course to break back, as he broke Murray's service game in the fifth game en route to a 4-2 lead.
However, the British number one won five of the next six games to progress into the third round with a 7-5 second-set victory.
Murray faces Gilles Muller in the next stage.
