Andy Murray has eased into the quarter-finals of the Rogers Cup after defeating Luxembourg's Gilles Muller in straight sets.
It only took an hour and five minutes for the British number one to vanquish his opponent 6-3 6-2, ensuring that he retains a perfect record against left-handers in 2015.
Murray encountered two minor glitches against Muller, in the form of a shaky first game and a lost serve late in the second set, but he only had six unforced errors in the whole match.
The world number three will now play the winner of Bernard Tomic and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in the last eight, although he will also be in doubles action against Jamie Murray, his brother, later on Thursday.
