Ninth seed Marion Bartoli has made it through to the third round of the Rogers Cup in Montreal thanks to a straight-sets victory over China's Peng Shuai.
Bartoli broke her opponent's serve three times in the opening set as she romped to a 6-1 win.
It looked to be a different story in the second when the former Wimbledon finalist was broken on her first service game, but she came back to close out the match 6-3.
Bartoli will now meet fifth seed Petra Kvitova for a place in the quarter-finals.
