Rafael Nadal has sailed serenely into the third round of the Rogers Cup by beating home favourite Jesse Levine in Montreal.
The world number four needed just one hour and 12 minutes to dispatch the 25-year-old 6-2 6-0 on Central Court and book a meeting with either Frank Dancevic or Jerzy Janowicz.
Levine - ranked 125th in the world - managed to stay with Nadal for the first few games of the opening set, but from there on it it was one-way traffic, as the Spaniard closed it out 6-2.
The Canadian then suffered the indignity of a whitewash in the second set, with the gulf in class apparent to all.
