World number one Novak Djokovic made light work of Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga as he wrapped up the Shanghai Masters with a straight-sets victory.
Djokovic was on blistering form as he won 6-2, 6-4 in one hour and 18 minutes to secure his ninth title of the season.
The Serbian broke his opponent in the opening game and raced ahead to claim the first set, exhibiting some of his best tennis along the way.
Tsonga was more defensive in the second set, holding Djokovic off until he finally broke at 4-4 after a lengthy game that ended with a disappointing double fault from the world number 15.
However, offensively, Tsonga rarely troubled Djokovic, who hit 18 winners and broke his opponent four times on his way to victory.
Djokovic, who did not drop a set at the tournament, beat Andy Murray, Bernard Tomic and Feliciano Lopez in the earlier rounds.
