Good afternoon and welcome to Sports Mole's live commentary from day two of the US Open at Flushing Meadows.
The likes of Andy Murray, Roger Federer and Maria Sharapova all opened up their accounts in the New York yesterday.
However, the big names will keep coming over the course of today. Defending champion Novak Djokovic will be in action, as will Caroline Wozniacki and the Williams sisters.
