Novak Djokovic has revealed his pride over reaching the final of all four Grand Slams in the calendar year for the first time in his career.
The world number one secured his place in the final of the US Open by defeating defending champion Marin Cilic in straight sets at Flushing Meadows to set up a showdown against Roger Federer on Sunday.
"Of course it's a great achievement, and I'm very proud of it," Djokovic told ESPN. "These are the tournaments where you want to perform your best."
Djokovic will be aiming to win the US Open for just the second time of his career.
