Andy Murray has admitted that he can improve his game following his disappointing quarter-final exit from the US Open.
The British number one was defeated 7-6 6-7 6-2 6-4 by Novak Djokovic in New York earlier today to end his hopes of a second success in the showpiece competition.
"I played well," BBC Sport quotes Murray as saying. "I played some good tennis, but it wasn't enough. I think I can do better.
"It was a good tournament, I played some nice tennis at times. There are definitely a few things I can do better, to keep working on and improving. But it's a shame."
Murray has now failed to progress beyond the semi-finals of any event since September 2013.
