Former British number one Greg Rusedski has claimed that Dan Evans can break into the world's top 50 following his run at the US Open.
The 23-year-old, who is currently 179th in the ATP rankings, reached the third round of the Grand Slam in New York before falling to Tommy Robredo on Saturday.
"He has really shown us the standard he can play to and if he continues at this rate there is no reason that he can't be in the top 100 and even top 50 one day if he continues at this rate," Rusedski told Sky Sports News.
Evans earned himself £60,000 for getting to round three at the US Open.
