Novak Djokovic has disposed of Mikhail Youhzny and advanced to the semi-finals of the US Open.
The 26-year-old Serbian looked to be sailing comfortably through the the semi-finals at Flushing Meadows, until the Russian 21st seed fought back on Arthur Ashe.
After taking the first two set with relative ease, the world number one was shocked as he dropped the third set 6-3.
However, the seven-time Grand Slam champion recovered to seal his place in the semi-final by taking the fourth set at a clean sweep.
Youzhny has never been beyond the last four of any Grand Slam - his best coming at Flushing Meadows in 2006 and 2010 - and his record will not improve following defeat to Djokovic.
