Roger Federer has booked his spot in the fourth round of the US Open after coming from behind to beat Marcel Granollers 4-6 6-1 6-1 6-1 this evening.
The five-time champion was stunned in a rain-delayed first set by his Spanish opponent in which he lost his first service game, before losing his serve again at 5-4 down.
However, the Swiss second seed recovered and eased to victory in the next three sets to claim his 70th victory at the tournament.
Federer will now face the winner of Adrian Mannarino and Roberto Bautista Agut's third-round tie.
