Karolina Pliskova has eased through to the US Open semi-finals with victory over Ana Konjuh.
Konjuh is regarded as one of the biggest prospects in the sport but she ran out of steam against Pliskova as the 10th seed recorded a 6-2 6-2 win.
In a one-sided opening set, Pliskova dropped just one point on serve and broke the 18-year-old on two occasions to move ahead after just 28 minutes, and it was a similar story in the second.
Konjuh took her points on the Pliskova serve up to five but she was thoroughly outplayed as the Czech struck two more times to progress in under an hour.
Pliskova will now face either Serena Williams or Simona Halep for a place in the final.
