Fifth seed Milos Raonic has progressed at the US Open after seeing off Victor Estrella Burgos in straight sets.
Each set was tightly contested, but the Canadian won 7-6 7-6 7-6 to book his spot in the fourth round this evening.
The opener went the way of serve until the tiebreak, when Raonic capitalised and edged out his opponent.
Both players lost serve on a couple of occasions in the second, but once more the favourite prevailed to take the set in a tense tiebreak.
Raonic completed the straight-sets win by taking the third in a similar fashion as Burgos bowed out at Flushing Meadows.
