Serena Williams has joined Victoria Azarenka in the final of the US Open for the second year in a row.
The world number one blew away her semi-final opponent, China's Li Na, in the opening set of their last-four clash, clinching it 6-0 is under half an hour, facing just one break point.
The fifth seed appeared to have upped her game at the start of the second set, breaking the defending champion in the third game.
However, Williams won the next four games in a row to force Li to serve to stay in the match.
The American saw her opponent save six match points in a lengthy service game at 5-2 down, but eventually overcame some late resistance to raise her game and hold serve, booking a rematch with Azarenka as reward for her efforts.
