Serena Williams has revealed her excitement after sealing a place in the US Open final.
The American booked her place in a sixth final at Flushing Meadows thanks to a devastating 6-1 6-2 victory over Sara Errani on Friday.
"I just love playing in front of you guys. It's really awesome," she told the crowd after her match.
"This is what I wanted and what I dreamed of all year. I'm on familiar ground and I'm excited about [the final]."
Williams will meet world number one Victoria Azarenka on Saturday for the chance to get her hands on a fourth US Open title.
