Brit watch
Anton Matusevich is the last Brit standing in the juniors after he defeated top seed Holger Rune in the third round. The 18-year-old, who is waiting for results in Maths, Further Maths and Economics this summer, now takes on eighth seed Shintaro Mochizuki in the quarter-finals and is hoping to win the tournament. After the end of 'Murena' British pair Evan Hoyt and Eden Silva are the last ones standing in the mixed doubles and they are also in last-eight action.
Match of the day
There will definitely be one debut Wimbledon finalist as Svitolina and Halep meet in a tasty looking tie. Svitolina is playing in her first grand slam semi-final and although Halep has been the world number one and won the French Open last year, she is also in uncharted territory at SW19. The Romanian will come into it as favourite, but Svitolina is capable of beating her.
Serena closing in on history
Williams has been there and done that and in her 12th Wimbledon semi-final she will be the firm favourite against Strycova. The Czech player is having a standout run at this year's tournament and will try and manoeuvre her opponent around the court, but it would be a big shock if Williams does not come through to her 11th final. She has won seven of those already and will have her eye on a 24th grand slam singles title, which would tie her with Margaret Court.
