Novak Djokovic has claimed that he must stifle Roger Federer if he wants to win Sunday's Wimbledon final.
Top seed Djokovic saw off Grigor Dimitrov in the last four on Friday, while Federer defeated Milos Raonic.
With Swiss veteran Federer enjoying a resurgence on court this year under the guidance of new coach Stefan Edberg, Djokovic is expecting a tough encounter against the seven-time champion at SW19.
"His level has been very high, I have to say," the Serbian is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News. "With his immense experience of winning this title so many times and from being so dominant in men's tennis for over a decade, of course that helps in the approach of a Grand Slam final.
"The key against him in the game, of course, is trying to not allow him to dictate too much because he likes to be very aggressive, he likes to come to the net.
"I'm going to have to be able to get as many returns as I can back in the court and try to also protect the baseline."
Djokovic's only previous triumph at Wimbledon came back in 2011 when he defeated Rafael Nadal in the final.
