Roger Federer sends a message to his rivals after the Wimbledon campaigns of Rafael Nadal, Andy Murray and Novak Djokovic ended before the semi-final stage.

Roger Federer has sent well-wishes to his biggest rivals on the tour after he became the only man out of the top four seeds left standing at Wimbledon.

Rafael Nadal was knocked out at the fourth-round stage earlier this week, while defending champion Andy Murray lost to Sam Querrey in today's quarter-final.

Novak Djokovic was forced to retire with an elbow injury during his final-eight match against Tomas Berdych, who will take on Federer in the semi-finals.

The seven-time Wimbledon champion secured his place in the next round with a straight-sets victory over last year's finalist Milos Raonic.

"We always knew the danger was there for either one of us," Federer told BBC Sport. "I hope that Novak is okay with his injury and I hope for Andy and Novak they will recover for the American summer. And Rafa, I'm convinced he will be back very strong.

"Berdych is a good friend of mine and it is nice to see different guys, but I'm glad my dream run has continued."

The 18-time Grand Slam winner's quarter-final triumph was his 100th match at Wimbledon.
