David Ferrer has admitted that Andy Murray deserves to win at least one Grand Slam title during his career after the Spaniard was beaten by the world number four in the quarter-finals at Wimbledon on Wednesday.
Despite losing the first set, Murray fought back on Centre Court to book his place in the semi-finals for the fourth year running.
"Andy played really well," Ferrer told reporters after the match. "He played more aggressive, he was better. He deserves to win a Grand Slam."
Murray's reward for beating Ferrer is a last-four encounter with French world number six Jo-Wilfried Tsonga on Friday.
