Three-time Wimbledon champion John McEnroe believes that Grigor Dimitrov can be "proud" of his performance, despite missing out on his first place in a Grand Slam final.
The Bulgarian proved a stern test for Novak Djokovic, but the 23-year-old was at the losing end of a four-set battle as the Serbian advanced into the Wimbledon final.
McEnroe told BBC Sport: "Dimitrov has got an awful lot be proud off, he showed a lot of character and a lot of class, but Novak Djokovic is as tough mentally as you will ever see on a tennis court."
Djokovic will play either Roger Federer or Milos Raonic in the final.
