Andy Murray has said that he is "not amused" by chants of "Come on Tim!" during his matches at Wimbledon.

The number four seed, who faces off against Croatian Ivan Ljubicic in the third round tomorrow, has been heckled with the chant - a reference to retired British No.1 Tim Henman - on both of his outings at this year's tournament.

"We were talking about it before my first match and asking how long it would be before the first 'Come on Tim'," recalled Murray. "I said 'within the first game'. It came four minutes in.

"It is a classic, that one. It is hilarious. It happens every match, three or four times. I do not find it particularly amusing."

Henman, meanwhile, believes the crowd are heckling because they are still in the process of getting to know Murray. "I've said more times than I care to remember that it's not a popularity contest," he said. "I don't think people are very good with change.

"I think people had got comfortable with and accustomed to me and the support I had and everything that went with it, and then Andy came along and people were thinking that he was a different character. People have been taking their time to understand what he's about and who he is."
