Andy Murray plays down 'favourite' tag

Andy Murray says that being the favourite doesn't make any difference ahead of his last-four meeting at Wimbledon with Jo-Wilfried Tsonga.

Andy Murray has refused to be drawn on talk that this is his best chance of winning Wimbledon.

The British number one goes into his semi-final meeting with Jo-Wilfried Tsonga as the favourite in front of his home fans.

Despite this, Murray isn't buying into the hype and has highlighted his meeting with Andy Roddick in 2009 as the reason for this.

"I think when I played Roddick in the semis was also a good chance," the 25-year-old said.

"I had a good record against him before the match. He did play unbelievable in the semis, and especially in the final that year.

"I'm in a good position, that's for sure. Whether it's the best chance or not, I'm not sure. But I've been in this position a few times now and want to push on."

The other semi-final sees Novak Djokovic take on Roger Federer.
