Fernando Verdasco has admitted that he is feeling relaxed going into his quarter-final clash at Wimbledon against Andy Murray.
The 29-year-old has reached the last eight in a Grand Slam for the first time in three years after beating Kenny de Schepper in the fourth round.
Verdasco told reporters: "This year in general I have done well. I've not done that well in the big tournaments, but I'm here now in the quarter-finals of Wimbledon.
"I have a mentality that's different to what I had before. I feel more relaxed than ever and that helps. It's a tranquility that I'm responding to well."
Verdasco will be aiming to reach the last four of a Grand Slam for just the second time in his career with a win over the British number one.
