Ana Ivanovic has progressed through to the second round at Wimbledon after overcoming Xu Xi-Fan in straight sets this afternoon.
The seventh seed eased through the match on Court 3 in a time of a little over one hour.
Ivanovic won two breaks of serve in the opening four games to take early control, dropping just one set to see out the opener 6-1.
It was a similar case in the second, as Xi-Fan struggled to hold serve on her way to losing 6-1 in successive sets.
