Marin Cilic has booked his place in the second round of Wimbledon after recording a 6-4 3-6 6-3 6-2 victory over Cedrik-Marcel Stebe.
The Croatian lost his opening service game of the first, but broke straight back, and again at 3-3 as he claimed the opening set 6-4.
The second set belonged to Stebe as the German secured two breaks of serve to level the match at one set all.
The third set was much tighter, and it took just a single break from Cilic to take it 6-3 as he moved ahead in the match.
We looked to be heading for a fifth when Haase secured an early break in the fourth, but three successive breaks from Cilic then secured the set 6-2.
