David Goffin has secured his place in round four at Wimbledon courtesy of a routine victory over Denis Istomin.
The 11th seed came out on top 6-4 6-3 2-6 6-1 in a time of just over two hours to set up a last-16 meeting against either Jack Sock or Milos Raonic.
Istomin, who battled past Kevin Anderson in a thrilling match to make it to this stage, lost serve in the ninth game of the opening set to give his opponent an early foothold.
From that Goffin was quick to push on, breaking the 29-year-old twice in quick succession in the second set before wrapping things up with his fifth set point.
Goffin did drop the third set to give Istomin just a glimmer of hope, but there was to be no upset on the cards as the Belgian - who has never previously made it beyond round four here - took the fourth set in a straightforward manner.
