David Goffin has progressed to the fourth round at Wimbledon for the first time in his career after beating Marcos Baghdatis 6-3 6-4 6-2.
The Cypriot got off to the better start, breaking Goffin in his first service game to claim a 2-0 lead, but the Belgian hit straight back to level the set.
Goffin went on to claim six out of seven games, quickly wrapping up the opening set as Baghdatis started to struggle to get his serves in.
The 16th seed had a break midway through the second set, but had to save a couple of break points while trying to serve it out in order to secure the 2-0 lead.
Goffin's hopes of completing a straight-sets win were boosted early in the third when Baghdatis dropped his serve in the opening game, before gifting his opponent a double break four games later.
Baghdatis had to serve to stay in the match after just over 90 minutes on court, but he held to force Goffin to serve it out in the next game.
Goffin will face the winner of the match between Stanislas Wawrinka and Fernando Verdasco in the fourth round.
