Roger Federer has booked his place in the Wimbledon quarter-finals with a straight-sets victory over Adrian Mannarino.
Federer is looking to win the title at SW19 for the ninth time, and the defending champion barely broke sweat as he secured a 6-0 7-5 6-4 victory over his French opponent.
The opening set lasted just 16 minutes and although Mannarino was competitive during the second, it was only through Federer wasting opportunities and the Swiss finally broke serve towards the end of the set.
Mannarino squandered four break points during the third and it soon led to Federer taking advantage and victory was eventually sealed in just one hour and 45 minutes.
Federer will now face either Gael Monfils or Kevin Anderson in the last eight on Wednesday.
