Rafael Nadal had to fight back from a set down to beat Martin Klizan and avoid a shock exit in the first round of Wimbledon this afternoon.
After an even start to the match, it was surprisingly Slovakia's Klizan who made the first break to go 5-4 in front. He then served out the set to stun Centre Court.
Nadal had to save three break points early on in the second but then managed to snap Klizan's serve for the first time and take the set 6-3.
It was the same scoreline in the third and fourth as two-time champion Nadal came through.
He will face Lukas Rosol, who memorably knocked him out two years ago, in the next round.
