Kyle Edmund has reached the second round of Wimbledon for just a second time by seeing off Alex Bolt in straight sets this afternoon.
Britain's number one, whose previous best finish at this tournament came last year, prevailed 6-2 6-3 7-5 to set up a meeting with either Yuichi Sugita or Bradley Klahn.
After breaking his opponent's serve in the first game of the contest, Edmund did not look back as he held throughout the opener to ease in front.
The world number 17 then opened up a two-game lead in the second set and was in complete control as he took set point at the third time of asking.
Edmund found things a little tougher in the third, as Bolt rallied and squandered his only set point in the 10th game, giving his opponent the chance to recover and book a place in the next round.
