Jimmy Wang has progressed through to the third round of Wimbledon courtesy of a 7-6(1) 6-2 6-7(5) 6-3 victory over Mikhail Youzhny.
The first set went the distance and required a tie-break which Wang took 7-1 having seen his Russian opponent lose serve three times.
Youzhny again lost serve on three occasions in the second allowing Wang to build up a two-set lead.
Both players lost serve twice in the following set with another tie-break needed to separate the two, with world number 16 Youzhny this time coming out on top to claw his way back into the contest.
Wang managed to take the fourth set to wrap up the match, however, to secure his path through to the next round in a time of just over three hours.
